The Dutch NMR Discussion Group organises annual meetings for the NMR and ESR community in the Netherlands and Belgium. The NMRDG aims at communicating a broad range of NMR/MRI/ESR applications. Both the industrial and academic field are represented in the NMRDG. Membership is free and open to all interested individuals.
Coming Event: the NMRDG meeting in 2013
The 48th NMRDG meeting will take place on November 8 at Eindhoven University, and will be hosted by Leo Pel.
The 47th NMRDG meeting was held on November 2, 2012, at Unilever in Vlaardingen and was hosted by John van Duynhoven. The Gorter NMRDG Award was handed out to Peter Seevinck (University of Utrecht) for hist thesis entitled "Multimodal imaging of holmium-loaded microspheres for internal radiation therapy". Lavinia Utiu received the award for best poster ("Linking Chemically Specific Structure Information to Physical Properties of Polymers").
Past Event: the NMRDG meeting in 2011
The 46th NMRDG meeting took place on October 28 2011 in Den Haag and our host was Dick Schipper (DSM). A large number of magnetic resonance spectroscopists attended the meeting. The poster prize was awarded to Ard Kolkman for his poster entitled "Spectral simplification by collapsing J-mulitplet structures: an improved technique for dilute samples". The NMRDG gratefully acknowledges the support of Bruker, Buchem, Euriso-Top and Praxair.
